Unfortunately, I haven’t been very crafty this week. I went
yard saling (is that a word?) this weekend and to a few thrift shops, so I have a few projects on my to
do list, but I just haven’t started them yet. Because I have the too busy to craft
bug this week, I thought I’d browse through my vault of past projects.
I’ve been watching the Olympics, like everyone else, and it
takes me back to a trip I took to London in 2006. I browsed through my pictures
from that trip, all 600 of them. Here are a few:
I also thought about a canvas painting I made for my little brother
when he bought his house. It’s a painting of a pair of the Rolling Stones infamous
lips and tongue logo, one painted in Union Jack style.
This is one of my most favorite art projects that I’ve done.
It was fun, unique, and only rock n’ roll. You have to remember that it was for
a 23-year-old single male. It's still hanging up in his living room wall, so I take it he liked it.
So, in honor of the London Olympics, I bring you art
inspired by some pretty rockin’ Brits.
I was featured on Redoux Interiors!
