Project Wedding: Carla + David

I know I've been on hiatus for quite some time but not without good reason. I now have a flea market booth at a fabulous place called Prattville Pickers, and I recently helped plan my sister-in-law Carla's wedding.

Carla and David's wedding was wonderful! It had a rustic, country theme, and over the next month I'll be bringing you highlights from the big event. Lots of mason jars, burlap, cowgirl boots, and jute twine. As you can imagine, there was a lot of DIY involved that anyone can do. Here are a few of the tutorials I've posted:

Here are some beautiful pictures of Carla and David on their special day.

Carla and David were married at a lodge in Evergreen, Alabama. The location was perfect for the big event, and further enhanced the rustic, country feel of the wedding. The weather could not have been more beautiful for the outdoor setting.

Pinterest inspired DIY projects became beautiful rustic decor. The flower arrangements, wedding cake, and other featured decor made Carla and David's day unique but gorgeous. I will be featuring some tutorials from  various aspects of the wedding, so stay tuned.

The wedding party was delighted for Carla and David. We all had a wonderful time and could not have been happier for the newly wed couple. For me, it was a family affair with me a bridesmaid, the hubby a groomsman, and my little mini-me as the flower girl.
